It’s like finding the perfect shoes, the kind of shoes that girls dream about, and then realising they don’t come in your size. And not only do they not come in your size, but even if they did, do to some cruel twist of fate they never would have fit. Sure you still try everything in your power to squeeze your foot into them, but deep down you know it’s a lost cause. All you can do is admire them for a moment, and then place them back into their tissue paper and cardboard coffin for some other lucky lady to find. You walk away feeling like you lost something incredibly dear to you, even though they were never your shoes to begin with.
